Arlene is a teacher, mentor, business-woman and published author.
As a yoga teacher, Arlene is expertly able to synthesize the qualities that have made her successful in her other vocations: Structured clarity of instruction supported by the drive to bring the best out in her students. Arlene believes in designing a yoga class that leaves her students feeling more fully connected, confident and joyful. Her classes are described as providing a safe yet challenging experience. Arlene has a passion for helping people to explore and practice yoga on their own terms.
But, yoga isn’t the only passion that Arlene loves to share with others. Hand in hand with yoga, Arlene has studied Ayurveda extensively. First with Susan Weis-Bohlen and then with Kerala Ayurveda Academy to earn her Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor Certification.
Off the mat, Arlene is an avid knitter, a student of Indian cuisine, and Vedic meditation.

500 hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance; Certified Yoga for All Instructor, Curvy Yoga Certified, Certified Gravity Yoga Teacher, Certified Chair Yoga Instructor and is a Certified Aerial Yoga Teacher.
Arlene is a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor through the Kerala Ayurveda Academy.
Arlene is a licensed Body Positive Facilitator qualified to lead Be Body Positive workshops and events.
In addition, Arlene has studied Thai Bodywork with Eleanor Bramwell and Restorative Yoga with Tara Lemerise.
Arlene is a member of the Yoga Alliance and a support member of the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America, Inc. Arlene is the past board chair for the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland and the Susquehanna Valley Community Mental Health Services
